Knucklace

I have embarked on creating the least obnoxious friendship pendants ever.

See, it's a deer knuckle that I found in Castroville...

... but when you open it up...

Tadaaa! TEJAS: it means "friendship".

Still working on it, gotta do more polishing, drill holes, make jump rings, etc.; also, my room now smells like burnt deer bone.

Benito Tortellini

I made this poster almost a year before my turtle actually went missing. I just altered a few details : He is now 5 inches long, was last seen at the corner of Crestmoor and Longmeade on Sat April 6 around 1 PM. He does not actually ride a bicycle/have asthma.

Ebb and Flow

My dog passed away this past Thursday, my pet turtle is missing, and this goodly frame the earth seems to me a sterile promontory.

Dandelion Wine

There are dandelions out blooming in the yards and the fields and by the side of the road in the beautiful early spring sunshine.
If you are an enterprising sort (and my man and I most certainly is), you can turn all those fuzzy little flowers into booze.

We have all the home brewing equipment already, so we embark on a new project. Thursday we have to go out and collect four quarts of flowers.

I look forward to making the labels.

“Some people turn sad awfully young. No special reason, it seems, but they seem almost to be born that way. They bruise easier, tire faster, cry quicker, remember longer and, as I say, get sadder younger than anyone else in the world. I know, for I'm one of them.”
